LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) has carried on with its dealership expansion throughout the UK with another appointment of servicing and sales partner ‘Caffyns’, based in Eastbourne, Sussex.
This additional opening brings LEVC’s UK network for dealer sales to a new total of 18 sites, backed up by a further 32 service locations.
Caffyns have been selected to provide full sales and after sales support with LEVC’s new TX electric taxi and the VN5 electric van, which has already started its production at its new state of the art EV manufacturing plant in Ansty, Coventry at the end of last year.
Caffyns began trading in 1865 and now boasts operations from around 17 sites throughout Kent and Sussex.
Joe Hofmann, CEO for LEVC, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Caffyns to our family and our UK network to represent LEVC throughout Sussex. It was a decision made very easy from their very rich history and glittering reputation, Caffyns will play a key role in helping LEVC to grow our brand presence further still and push our customer base in the South of England. Their appointment plays a huge part of our network growth plan to make sure that all LEVC customers are never further away than 45 minutes from a sales and service point. Our priority is to provide a first class to service to all our customers, as we continue to grow and develop out technology even further”.
Mr. Simon Caffyn, CEO of Caffyns Ltd, stated: “We are 100% committed to working with manufacturer partners that are at the forefront of the greener environmental movement supporting the ongoing uptake of electric vehicles. We have recognised LEVC as real pioneers over the years of this shift towards EVs becoming more popular. Both the VN5 commercial van and the new TX offerings are 2 particularly new exciting vehicles that are charging the lead in the green revolution.”
